Mare Island Art Studios and Artiszen* are joining to celebrate the Art of Community, featuring guests from Artiszen’s past shows, along with some exciting new artists, AND a sneak peak at Erin Bakke’s beautiful upcoming book!
*When Artiszen Cultural Arts Center opened its doors in the heart of downtown Vallejo in 2013, it soon became a space where the community could enjoy art, theater, music, dance, self expression, new friendships and more. During its heyday (the gallery closed in 2018), Artiszen embraced and celebrated the Art of Community, and this show at MIAS will be reminiscent of that special time.
