As an artist residing and creating in Vallejo, CA, my passion lies in advocating for individuals with hearing differences. Drawing from my own journey as a hard of hearing individual who wears Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, as well as being a parent to a son who is deaf and utilizes both sign language and oral communication alongside cochlear implants, I’ve channeled my experiences into artworks that celebrate acceptance, honor, and recognition within our community.
I’ve poured my heart into a collection of paintings, sculptures, and illustrations, all centered around this theme. It’s with great joy that I announce the unveiling of my first family-friendly Solo Art Show, featuring the launch of a children’s book I’ve illustrated, titled “Cesaria Feels the Beat.”
