Spiritual Creations By Rosalyn

Rosalyn Parhams is a self-taught craftswoman and ceramic artist, deeply rooted in a creative journey. Her work is shaped by African spirituality, ceremonial traditions, the metaphysical energy of gemstones, and a reverent relationship with the natural world. Each piece she creates is a spiritual offering—designed to reflect sacred aesthetics and act as a bridge between the physical and the unseen.

Her first introduction to the handmade came through her family, whose creativity brought beauty and purpose to their home and church fundraisers in Newark, New Jersey. That early inspiration led her to study graphic design at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After moving to California, Rosalyn found her true passion in working with clay. She went on to earn a degree in sculpture and eventually established her own studio in Fairfield. Her ceramic work draws deeply from the mysticism of folk art, religious icons, and ancient artifacts from Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. She often visits historical sites and museum collections for inspiration, infusing each creation with spirit, story, and intention.
