Dear Prospective Artist,
We are extending an invitation to be part of the Annual Holiday Bazaar at the Mare Island Art Studios on Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th, 2019, and Saturday and Sunday, December 21st and 22nd, 2019. Opening hours will be 11 am to 5 pm each day except for Sunday, December 15th, we will stay open until 7 pm for the Grand Victorians Home Tour.
$50 for a weekend (2 days).
Sign-up date by November 8, 2019
All items sold at the Bazaar must be handcrafted or handmade by the artist applicant exhibiting them!
Artists will be given a space to fit a 6’ table or display (artist must supply their table/display) with room behind each area for storage.
A submitted application certifies that you understand, accept, and agree to abide by all rules, regulations, & procedures stated throughout the Mare Island Art Studios Holiday Bazaar.
Important Dates
Application Deadline: November 8, 2019
Acceptance notification or non-acceptance notification will be sent following the jury process.
Payment Deadline for accepted applicants: November 15, 2019
Any withdrawal from the bazaar must be made in writing by or before November 15, 2019, for a full refund.
No refunds after November 15, 2019
Processing Procedures
A complete application for the jury’s consideration must include:
- A fully completed application.
- Photos of what you will be displaying/selling.
- Required images: Images should consist of:
- Close up picture of art/craft (incl 3-5 images)
- Photo of display/booth
- Photos of artist in action/creating at their workshop or studio production of art/craft. (incl 2-4 images)
Your images may be used by Mare Island Art Studios for Holiday Bazaar promotional purposes.
Jury decisions are based on images and information provided on the 2019 application.
ALL DECISIONS OF THE JURORS ARE FINAL.
Management will not confirm acceptance nor discuss jury’s decision.
